Yahoo! Mail - Free web-based email

Yahoo! Mail is a provider of free electronic mail (webmail) service owned by Yahoo! which was inaugurated in 1997. Yahoo! Mail is the largest free email provider on the Internet, and has millions of users around the world. Other than Yahoo! Mail, some sites free email service providers other till now still be the main competitor is Windows Live Hotmail, Gmail and AOL Mail.

Currently, Yahoo! offers two versions of Yahoo! Mail, including versions of Ajax interface powered by Yahoo! Zimbra introduced in 2007, and Yahoo! Mail Classic is a simple face which was introduced in 1997-2006. Currently, the version of AJAX for Yahoo! Mail, is expected be complete and began to replace Yahoo! Mail the old version. In early 2008, Yahoo! began offering unlimited mail storage to even non-paying users, in response to competitive market segments in the world free-web mail.

Then on June 27, 2009, Yahoo! Messenger integrated with Yahoo! Mail Beta. This means that the Messenger and Mail together in one place, making it possible to connect directly with friends who are online, to enable smooth between email and chat, with no downloads or settings required. For this new feature is not available for Yahoo! Mail Classic.
